After weeks of speculations, Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor has finally confirmed that she is expecting her second child, sharing a striking new photoshoot.
The 40-year-old actress showed off her baby bump and shared a touching note, ‘celebrating another beautiful chapter of her life.’
Sonam looked every bit stunning in a bright pink coat-style dress, black tights, high heels, a sleek black handbag, and dark sunglasses. Cradling her baby bump, she looked elegance personified. The caption said it all in just one word: “Mother,” with a kissing emoji, leaving no ambiguity as to the joyful revelation.
Her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja, further added to the excitement when he commented, “double trouble,” pointing toward the shared joy of the couple. Soon, the post was flooded with love and congratulatory messages from other celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra, not to mention thousands of delighted fans.
It is pertinent to note that the rumors of Sonam’s pregnancy had gained momentum after she attended the Karwa Chauth gathering at her father Anil Kapoor’s house but avoided the photographers, which led to speculation galore.
Sonam and Anand got married in May 2018 in Mumbai and were blessed with a son, Vayu, in August 2022. The couple is getting ready for the expansion of their family as baby number two is on the way.
