Tere Bin was a blockbuster Geo TV drama series which aired in 2023. The drama aired a total of 58 episodes and garnered more than 4 billion views, with the first and last episodes having more than a hundred million views. Geo Television Network’s popular serial Tere Bin has once again been in the news after the official announcement of Season 2, starring Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali. The announcement was made by television and film critic and RJ Dr. Ejaz Waris on his official Instagram channel.
According to the details, Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali are all set to take part in the Tere Bin 2 shooting, which is scheduled for June 2026. The season 2 is also a 7th Sky Entertainment production and it will be directed by the same director Siraj ul Haq. However, the writer this time is not Nooran Makhdoom, who faced backlash in Season 1 for a few problematic tracks.
Tere Bin fans are in disbelief over the Season 2 announcement, as the makers had already announced it soon after the drama ended, leaving fans waiting for four years. A fan wrote, “I don’t know what will happen, but it baffles me that the Pakistani TV industry didn’t utilize such a strong and talented pair.” Another stated, “I can’t believe it—if the shooting will start in July, then what about Siraj ul Haq’s upcoming drama with Danish Taimoor? It doesn’t make sense, as Danish’s drama could take around six months, which means the director wouldn’t be free before September, and therefore the news doesn’t seem genuine.”
Another said, “We will believe it when the official confirmation from the makers and the lead pair comes, as the makers have given us so many false hopes.”
